Neegan

Our Story

Neegan’s heavy-duty equipment and fuel services have been nourishing the growth and prosperity of the Fort McMurray region for over 30 years. In turn, the spirit of the region has nourished us. This is our home, and we share the same values as the people here – loyal, hard-working and independent – and the same dreams to see our community thrive.

Part of the Tuccaro Group, Neegan is the leading fuel and mine services supplier in the region. We also fuel other essentials to the Fort McMurray region, like opportunity, employment and pride. We started as a private, aboriginal owned Fort McMurray company and today, we remain a 100% locally owned Fort McMurray company.

Neegan is committed to helping the Fort McMurray region thrive. Since 1985, many of the region’s leading companies have counted on our large fleet of light and heavy duty mine equipment, as well as fuelling equipment, including Syncrude, Albian Sands, Kearl, CNRL and AMEC Colt.

As the world’s energy capital, Fort McMurray is vital to Canada’s future. We are proud to play our role in leading the region to a bright and prosperous future.

Competitive Rates

In light of market conditions, we have lowered rates for our equipment and labour services. New lower rates, but the safety and quality service that you count on from Neegan for your fuel and equipment needs remains at the highest level.

Commitment to Safety

Safety is entrenched in our culture, resulting in an exemplary safety record throughout all our fuel services and equipment operations. Pro-active prevention, hazard control and injury prevention are driving forces here, with all our employees achieving full safety requirements: TDG, fall arrest, fire extinguisher training, first aid, permit training, as well as site specific training. Neegan was presented with the Syncrude President’s Award for safety in 2008 and 2012, and in 2016 we ranked 4th in safety performance out of 48 contractors on Syncrude’s site.
